Take Your Cutting Skills to the Next Level with Cutting Edge Shift - Precision Cutting Project.

Are you a hairdresser looking to refine your cutting skills and elevate your career?

South Australian Hair & Beauty Association (SAHBA) understands the challenges of staying competitive in an industry where precision and excellence are in high demand. As hairdressers face a national skills shortage, SAHBA is committed to supporting our industry through this pilot project to build your confidence and sharpen your cutting edge.

Extending the Curve
For Hairdressers & Barbers

A business course to help you succeed as a salon or barbershop entrepreneur

Are you a senior apprentice or a recent graduate who wants to extend your management skills?

SAHBA, in collaboration with The French Beauty Academy, is excited to offer a complimentary Salon Management course. We are excited to present a skills cluster that provides valuable insight into the essentials of salon management. The three units delivered by our Diamond sponsor, The French Beauty Academy, form part of the SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management. Successfully completing this course will mean you only need to complete the remaining seven units and be awarded your full qualification.

“I have been a hairdresser for 25 years, and a salon owner and SAHBA member for 15 years. I am now a newly appointed board director.

I have used SAHBA for advice many times over the years on wage structures and rates, rules around apprentice contracts and overall support as an employer.

I look forward to being involved in positive change around apprentices and retention of hairdressers ...”
